HOW TO CARE

1. AIRING

Natural yarn is a fiber that is difficult to get dirty, one of the methods we recommend that should be used most often to refresh a sweater is airing. It will allow you to keep your knitted sweater in great condition, you will get rid of unpleasant odors and the sweater will gain freshness. Be sure to try to air your sweater at least once a year during frost!

2. FREEZING

Another great method that will be an alternative to washing and the best way to dry clean a sweater. Put it in a sealed plastic bag, place it in the freezer for 1-2 days. After putting it on, the sweater will be as good as new! This method allows any dirt to crumble, leaving the sweater soft, fluffy and refreshed!

3. WASHING

We recommend using this method the least often, once every 2/3 years, always consider using the above methods before washing. Natural yarn is extremely delicate and requires special attention, care and caution when washing by hand.

What you need to prepare:

- lukewarm water

- wool detergent

- large towel

- dryer

WASHING AND RINSING

Remember that the temperature of the water during washing and rinsing should be the same. We recommend hand washing only, use lukewarm water, add wool detergent and immerse the sweater, soak it gently, it is important to have the sweater under control in your hands at all times and not pull it up, thereby exposing the fibers to pulling out under the influence of the weight of the water. During washing, gently knead the sweater in your hands, without wringing it out. Then rinse the sweater also by immersing it in water at the same temperature.

DRYING

Using kneading movements, we squeeze out excess water, without wringing the sweater. Remember to have it in your hands unrolled all the time, so that the fibers do not stretch under the weight. Lay the sweater on a towel, spread it out so that it is smaller than it actually is, do not stretch it. Wrap it in a towel and squeeze out excess water with kneading movements, the sweater dried in this way can be prepared for the drying process.

DRYING

Prepare a dryer, or any flat surface on which you will spread a large, dry towel, put your dried sweater on it, it is important not to stretch it when unfolding, arrange it tightly, so that the fibers are close to each other and that the size is actually smaller than the actual size, during such drying natural fibers will have a chance to return to their original shape and size. If you lay the sweater stretching it, it will be larger after drying because the fibers will stretch. That is why it is so important to arrange the sweater properly on the dryer.

4. STORAGE

We recommend storing sweaters flat, preferably folded in a wardrobe, without crushing them with anything heavy, we follow the rule - from the heaviest to the lightest sweater. Do not store sweaters hanging them on hangers by the shoulders because they will deform and stretch under the influence of their own weight. In the case of light sweaters, they can be stored on hangers, but it is best to hang them through the seam.
